SR3's Casey Mclean to speak at Camano Island Sound Water Stewards

Wednesday, April 25th, Casey Mclean, a marine veterinary nurse with Sealife Response + Rehab + Research (SR3), will speak at Camano Island Sound Water Stewards 4th Wednesday speaker series about SR3’s efforts to build Washington State’s first dedicated marine animal rehab and science center.

Hear Casey's first-hand accounts about marine animal rehabilitation, threats our local wildlife face and the need for a center in our region.

SR3 is a community supported collaborative organization active in:

  • Disentangling sea lions and large whales from fishing gear,
  • Responding to stranded or injured marine wildlife, and
  • Studying cetacean health, emphasizing resident orca whales.
