This event is co-sponsored by Vashon Maury Island Land Trust and Vashon Nature Center. They are hosting SR3's Casey Mclean who will talk about the diverse marine wildlife of the Pacific Northwest and the threats they face. SR3 is a local non-profit building Washington's first dedicated marine animal rehabilitation and science center, disentangling whales and sea lions and researching marine conservation issues.
The event is free and open to the public.
