Rachel Bishop

Development & Communications Officer

Rachel is a grant writer and communications professional with more than ten years of experience supporting animal-related charities. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a postgraduate certification in nonprofit management. 

Rachel has worked in many different capacities in the nonprofit field, including managing a multi-million dollar capital campaign, crafting a wide variety of donor communications, and event planning. She has had a lifelong passion for all animals and was thrilled to broaden her experience with marine wildlife after joining SR³ in 2019.
